Most of my life I’ve wanted straight hair. Neat, predictable and easy to manage. Such a contrast to my curly hair which is untidy, often unpredictable and difficult to manage.
Many people think I called my new book ‘Curly Conversations for Teams’ because I had some kind of ‘Curl Power’ moment. That's kind of true, I guess, but it's not the main reason.
I wrote the book because many leaders and teams are drowning in disruption. They are exhausted, have no time to think and often feel like they're alone in the unknown.
Disruption drives disconnection. So, at the very moment when a team needs to think, feel and act together, disruptive forces pull them apart.
