Curly Conversations enable teams to navigate uncertainty together.
One of the critical elements of Curly Conversations is feeling somehow connected to the person you're having the conversation with.
Sometimes, however, in the busy-ness of the day today we can lose, or end up with less connection than we need.
I was reminded of this recently.
I found a blue envelope at the back of the cupboard that had been there for over 20 years. The envelope had a name and a phone number. When I first looked at the name it was unfamiliar. However, as I thought about it, I realised that this person's name was someone that I had known when I was at university.
Just for the fun of it, I decided to reach out and reconnect. Within seconds I received back a positive and welcoming response. We then proceeded to catch-up on many years of history and talk about where we were now. It was terrific!
For some of us, COVID-19 has made it more difficult than usual to connect.
So I’m curious. Is there someone that you have yet to reconnect with? If so, perhaps today could be the day to do something about it.
