It sounds like an odd question to ask. Growth is a primary driver behind many of the activities that a business does.
However, I wonder what would happen if you asked a number of people in your organisation:
What do we mean by growth?
Why do we want to grow?
Why does it matter?
And having asked those questions and obtained the answers, it would be great to ask:
Is growth living up to our expectations?
Is the effort delivering the benefit or the value that we hoped that it would?
It's a critical curly conversation for every Executive Team to have. You may be surprised by the outcome.
