I came across this graffiti art while out walking yesterday.
I reckon is does a pretty good job representing what it feels like to be under the pump and have too much to do.
Few of us wake up with the goal of working long hours. It just happens. Stuff builds up, unexpected things land in your inbox and before you know it, you're sitting up in bed with your laptop.
It might sound obvious, but the ability to spend your energy on things that matter requires you to know what matters in the first place.
When you think about it, do you know what matters?
When you're feeling like you're all over the place, it is useful to ask three questions.
1. What difference do I want to make?
2. What factors will drive whether or not I make that difference?
3. How does this activity support those factors?
If you're feeling frantic when you want to be focused try these questions out.
