I went on holiday recently and each morning I would do a similar walk. It occurred to me on the third or fourth round of this walk that I was unconsciously taking a path that headed off the main footpath.
I asked myself why I was taking that path, given that the primary purpose of my walk was to get exercise. By cutting the corner off my route, I was getting less exercise and not achieving my objective.

It may well be an opportunity, but it may equally be taking us away from where we want to go. What matters is not whether we take a different path or not, itโs whether we make a conscious choice and have thought about where it could take us.
Something to think about.
